DINOPLANTERS

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for my Dinoplanter?

Dinoplanters are hand painted so it is best to treat them with care. If you are filling them with soil, we recommend you cover them with plastic so that you have a minimal amount of dirt to clean off. Wiping your Dinoplanter with a moist cloth or sponge should be all they need. Make sure you don't use an abrasive cleaner on your Dinoplanter as it could damage or remove their paint.

What plant can I put in my Dinoplanter?

Mini kokedama balls and air plants are recommended as perfect companions for Dinoplanters. However, many people choose to pot different types of plants that require soil especially succulents. Be aware that Dinoplanters do not come with drainage holes so you will need to be careful not to overwater your new friend. A layer of pebbles in the bottom helps with drainage, but it will be up to you depending on what sort of plant you choose.

Also, remember not to plant anything in your Dinoplanter that will make it top heavy especially if your planter doesn’t stand on all four legs.

What are Dinoplanters made from?

Dinoplanters are made from plastic, so they won’t break. They are then hand-painted so its best to handle them with care.

Are Dinoplanters toys?

Dinoplanters are not toys. They are ornamental planters and because they are hand painted they need to be handled with care to ensure they maintain their good looks. But remember they don’t just have to be a planter. Get Creative! They are great to hold pens, pencils and art supplies on your desk or anything else you might come up with.

I saw a Dinoplanter I liked on Facebook/Instagram but its not on your online shop - How do I purchase it?

If you see a Dinoplanter in one of my posts on Facebook or Instagram that you would like, but you can't find it online please get in touch through the Contact Us page or through messages on Instagram or Facebook. It also helps if you take a screenshot of the Dinoplanter you are referring to. Often Dinoplanters may not be listed online because they are out of stock in that particular colour, in some cases a particular dinosaur may no longer be available.

How long will it take to get my order?

All Dinoplanters listed online are currently in stock and ready for their new homes. Your purchase will be shipped within 1 - 3 business days of the order being placed. If you are after a Dinoplanter that is not currently in stock, it can take up to three weeks to make your order and allow the paint to cure.

Once your order is in the post you will be sent a tracking number so you can track the estimated delivery date.
